What’s Getting Me Through This Holiday Week: My Cozy, Binge-Worthy Watchlist

It’s Thanksgiving week, friends! Time for stretchy pants, comfort food, and the perfect excuse to curl up with something fun, emotional, or totally binge-worthy. Lately, I’ve been jumping between rewatches, comfort shows, and those ‘wow, I didn’t expect to feel THIS much’ moments… so I thought I’d share everything that’s been keeping me entertained lately.

Whether you’re spending time with family, friends, or just enjoying some downtime alone, here’s what’s been keeping me cozy and totally hooked lately.

🌟 Palm Royale

Okay… Kristín Wiig? She is so funny and so endearing I can’t take it. She’s giving chaos, charm, confidence — all wrapped in those deliciously bright outfits. And Carol Burnett is absolutely killing it in her scenes. Palm Royale has been such a mood-lifter for me. Stylish, wild, ridiculous in the best way… it’s pure holiday-week escapism.

⚔️ The Last Kingdom

I became fully, unapologetically obsessed. This show took over my brain in the most delightful way. It’s emotional, epic, and totally bingeable. If you’ve been meaning to try it, Thanksgiving weekend is the moment.

👾 Stranger Things (rewatch!)

One of my absolute top 5 favorite series of all time. No question. Season 5 is out now, and I’ve been diving into the rewatch leading up to it, and honestly, it just hits differently this time of year. Nostalgic, cozy, heartwarming, eerie… everything I love in one binge-worthy package.

😴 The Sandman: Season 2

Ohhh this season hit me. A total gut punch in the best, most emotional, unexpected way. Dreamy visuals, beautiful arcs, and a story that stays with you long after. Perfect for a thoughtful, slow-burn marathon.

🐎 1923

Since my TikTok on this show crossed 100K views (!!), I had to mention it. And honestly, it deserves the spotlight. Emotional, gripping, beautifully shot, and stacked with incredible performances. A standout.

🌬 Dark Winds

This show has such a unique feel, that 1970s vibe, the Navajo Nation culture, the stunning scenery… it’s all just so rich and atmospheric. The mysteries pull you in quietly and then suddenly you’re like, “Okay… next episode NOW.” Perfect recommendation material.

🧳 Daryl Dixon

The man. The myth. One of the longest-running, best-built characters in the whole TWD universe. This show gives him such a gorgeous, adventurous spotlight, unique locations, emotional layers, zombies with flair, and plenty of heart. It’s comfort viewing with edge.

🎤 Only Murders in the Building

These guys, and Selena, crack me up every single time. Their timing, their delivery, the little comedic beats? Ugh, perfection. Cozy, clever, and always fun. It just fits the season.

💎 The Gilded Age

This season HOOKED me. The drama! The costumes! The backstabbing! The unexpected emotional moments! It’s glamorous and messy in the most charming way.

🍿 MOVIES I’M LOVING RIGHT NOW

🎄 A Very Jonas Christmas Movie

Cute, funny, easy, festive, just a perfect little holiday treat. It made me laugh out loud. Sometimes you just need a fun seasonal movie to reset your mood.

🕯️ Frankenstein (Guillermo del Toro)

Haunting. Beautiful. Poetic. This one really grabbed me emotionally and surprised me with how moving it was. Definitely worth your time.

Back to the Future Trilogy (before it leaves Netflix!)

A timeless classic, and there’s no better moment than right now while it’s still available. Cozy vibes, nostalgic perfection.

🦃 Planes, Trains and Automobiles

My favorite Thanksgiving movie, truly the best. It’s heartfelt, funny, warm, chaotic in the most relatable way, and just hits every single time. Love Steve Martin and John Candy. If you haven’t watched it yet this holiday weekend… fix that immediately.

❤️ My Mom Jayne

A beautiful, heartfelt documentary by Mariska Hargitay that really stays with you. Thoughtful, human, and incredibly well told.

⭐️ Bonus Pick

The Pitt

It came out earlier this year, but it stuck with so many people and with me, too. One of those “don’t overlook this one” titles that deserves a little shine.

✨ Final Thoughts

The holidays can get busy, loud, chaotic… but carving out time to escape into great stories? It’s the best kind of reset. I’ll be back soon diving into Stranger Things Season 5 (!!), but until then, I hope this little watchlist brings you comfort and joy.

Happy Thanksgiving week and happy watching! 🍂📺💛
